Our hardware recommendations for live auctions with optimal picture and sound quality

In principle, you can use our software for live auctions with all common Windows and Mac webcams and microphones. However, for the best picture and sound quality, we recommend using professional hardware. 

Sony Alpha ZV-E10L

Mirrorless, robust APS-C camera with tilting screen and 4K video for optimal video recording with connection option to PC or Mac. We also recommend the Elgato Cam Link 4K and a stable camera tripod. 

Elgato Facecam

As an alternative to the SONY ZV-E10 L and a suitable Sigma lens, you can use the Elgato Facecam for your live stream.

This delivers 1080p60 Full HD video thanks to the integrated Sony sensor. The camera connects directly to your PC or MAC via USB.

Sigma 351965 56mm

For Sony-E lens bayonet. Alternatively, or depending on the recording angle of your live auctions, you can use the Sigma 30mm F1.4 - this object is particularly suitable for larger viewing angles. Both lenses are also suitable for poor light conditions. 

Elgato Keylight 

Make sure your video section is optimally lit. The Elgato Keylight is professional studio lighting with a brightness of up to 2800 lumens.

You can also control the temperature and brightness settings directly from the PC. 

RODE VideoMic NTG

A broadcast-quality shotgun microphone designed specifically for camera mounting and connecting directly to a PC or Mac via USB. Prevents interference from other directions or from the hall and reduces background noise to a minimum.
