Fabric Analyzer (FAB)

Web Tools | CAD Software

Product Overview

As part of the Open Platform and expanding digital ecosystem, Browzwear’s Fabric Analyzer (FAB) is a robust system that gives users the ability to accurately determine all of the physical properties of any fabric from its thickness to the stretch and bend. The data accumulated is then translated into a visual image in a matter of minutes. The values are then automatically loaded into VStitcher or other 3D clothing design software applications.

Specifications

TRUE-TO-LIFE 3D SIMULATION

The Fabric Analyzer enables brands, manufacturers, and fabric mills to test and identify each physical property of any fabric independently. The readings obtained from the FAB are uncompromisingly accurate, allowing users to create true-to-life 3D simulations of any fabric and pattern. This enables each physical property to be visualized with precision on a digital twin of the physical garment. Whereas other 3D simulation engines may render different results using the same values, as it depends on the individual simulation engines.

SIMPLIFY DATA MANIPULATION FOR IMPROVED ACCURACY

Browzwear’s Fabric Analyzer practically eliminates the tedious process that manual fabric analysis entails, which often results in human interpretation error and other common mistakes. It seamlessly compiles all of the measurements and specifications of any fabric and instantly imports the data into VStitcher for the creative process to begin. All you have to do is simply insert the piece of fabric securely into the machine and you’ll be able to retrieve the data as you work.

KEEP YOUR FABRIC DATA ALIGNED WITH U3M

After obtaining the readings from the FAB, the fabric information can then be shared across multiple software platforms. However, when vendors output the data, it is usually embedded within their styles or displayed in a proprietary format, which can lead to incompatibility when transferred. To create a more efficient and streamlined material digitization process, U3M enables digital asset suppliers to utilize a standardized fabric format across applications to ensure that the visual appearance of the fabrics is kept aligned throughout.
